Dan joined the firm in 2002.   He is a graduate of Appalachian State University (both the undergraduate and master’s program).  He lives in Salisbury with his wife (also a CPA) and their three sons.   He serves on the Board of Trustees of his local church, his Local YMCA Board of Directors, and is a Rotary club member.  He is a native of Hendersonville NC.

He began his accounting career with a Big 4 firm in Greenville SC.  He also served as a controller for local professional race car team.  At Potter and Company, Dan works with local nonprofits, governmental units, construction contractors, and other local family-owned businesses.  He cares for his client’s success deeply.

Dan’s other interests are spending time with his family, boating and fishing on the local lake, and even off-roading at the nearby state park.
